Since Bush left office & Obama took office (January 2009) in seasonally adjusted numbers:
- 1.4 million MORE jobs in total
- 2.2 million MORE private sector jobs
- 1,339,000 MORE people working
Have any private jobs been lost (net) over the past 36 months?
NO!

The above jobs numbers are from the BLS jobs report of February 2013, which was released in March 2013. The surveys used to gather these numbers are taken as of the week which includes the 12th day of the month, in this case, February 12, 2013.
